Atteneded my friend hen's night yesterday at the Ivy. oh.My.God! I didn't know things could get so WILD!

Penny and I arrived late. Upon our arrival, the bride to be made us dunk a glass of whiskey coke. Mind you. I can't drink. But am forced to dunk anyway. So, half a glass went down my stomach. and for most of the night, I sat on their high stool. of which I am blardy glad! I had a BLAST!! just by watching all the crazy things that the rest made the bride to be do.

Finding the PERFECT wedding gown is NEVER EASY! What's more when choices are limited.

As such, I am CONSIDERING (really considering) to have mine tailor made. First, I'll have to figure out the silhouette, A line/princess? ball gown? or Mermaid.

Then I'll have to consider the neckline, straight? or boatneck.

I want something really simple. Perhaps an A line/princess or Mermaid with boatneck. Yes, I think I'll be more comfortable wearing a boatneck. I've got nothing much to show anyway....
and I'll have a low cut back, with flowers gathering at the back... and of course, a train. At least have to be 2 feet long train!!

This will cost around RM1,100 to RM1,500. Decision decision. Should I or should I not. Decision. Decision. hmmm......

There you go, these are some of the photos that we took during our trip to Kuala Selangor. Unfortunately we did not take any photos of the fireflies. Fireflies were MUCH LESS compared to er, 4 years ago? But if you have not been there before, you should go. Still quite impressive! Some of the trees were so brightly lit up, brighter and much nicer than christmas tree.

The trip was nice. Except one thing. The food, SUCKS BIG TIME! we waited for a blardy 1.5 hrs for the food, and trust me, it is NOT WORTH the wait. and the money!

As if trying to convert the dusty noise and rush hour surrounding to those serene peaceful reserved forest with rabbits hopping around, monkeys monkying around, papa deer and mama deer taking care of baby deer, wild boar drinking water at the riverside, birds chirpping gaily, wahhhso many wild flowers, and ahhh, the musky smell…. oh so peaceful surreal surrounding.

Noticing how adamantly your lunch wanted out, you started flashing. Headlights, that is. Flash pause. pause. flash. No reaction. Flash pause pause. flash. Still no reaction. As you get nearer, and as your lunch is trying to budge out in any second, your flash turns into a more urgent plea. Flash flash pause flash flash. Flash flash pause flash flash…. BUGGER, still no reaction. Dreaming or what?? Still in the process of converting is it??? Blardy! Then came FLASH FLASH FLASH FLASH FLASH!!

I apologize for not posting this up earlier. To those who bought something which have cost your arms and legs (plural, not singular) or other body parts, I apologize. For not posting my tips earlier.

Theses days VD is just SO DAMN commercialise. We as someone who are smart, have enough attitude and character SHOULD NOT blindly follow the crowd. If you wish to contribute to the growth our country's economy, you CAN contribute to me. I'll be glad to assist you in playing your part of being a good and responsible citizen.

OK, this is the way you should spend your VD with your date:

Don't rush back after work, in fact you should stay in the office abit longer, to avoid the jam.
Have your dinner at home. If you can wait, eat with him/her, if you can't you can start first.
Surf the channel - TV 1, 2 or 3 is just plain SAD, for Christ's sake install ASTRO!
If you have had your dinner without your partner, this is the time to teman your partner for dinner.
Do whatever you like after dinner, YOU DON'T NEED ME TO TEACH YOU DON'T YOU!

Rover

His nose and eyes has got a new lump, so I brought him to the vet. The vet did a biopsy and confirmed the MOST DREADED thing... Rover has malignant cancer cell!! *paaannnggggg*

While he was asleep due to the anesthetic, he vomitted blood clot. and the vet suspect he has got stomach ulcer.... *double pangggggggggggggss!!!*

The vet will do an x-ray to ensure that the cancer has not spread to other part of his body.

These are our option:

1. If the cancer cell has not spread, we will remove the cell, and Rover will have to undergo chemo. (yes, dogs have chemo too); or

2. If the cancer cell has spread, it would be better for us to leave him like that. No point treating as treating him will accelerate his now terrible condition..

If the cancer cell has spread, he'll have 3-5 months more.

Please pray for him, pray that the cancer cell has not spread to other parts.

UPDATE: The x-ray came back and his lungs are clear. So, the cancer is just a local cancer. Will remove the cells after CNY!

I have to admit, I am a VERY impatient person. Impatient BUT fair.

Went to Starbucks with YY, it was a very loooong queue, coz there was only one barista on duty.

I can wait. I waited so damn blardy long at the pick up counter for my drinks. I did not complain because I know she was the only one on duty. I kept my mouth shut and stood there like an idiot waiting for the damn drinks!!

THEN, she did the did the UNTHINKABLE (well, actually not that UNTHINKABLE), she served the person behind me before serving me. BLARDY! I stood there for so loooong and she served the blardy person behind me. Coincidently the blardy person behind me ordered the same drink as me. So, I looked at the barrister and asked her (not in a very pleasant mode) “Excuse me, I thought I came first, why is she (pointing at the woman behind me) getting her drink before me? AND HOW LONG MORE DO I NEED TO WAIT…..??!!”

(Come onlah I don’t mind waiting because I understand that they were understaffed, BUT, I CANNOT tolerate people jumping queue …..)

She give me THE LOOK, then the cashier boy came and politely apologize to me and offered to send the blardy drink to my table….

Luckily, when the drink came, it came without whipped cream, as instructed (and normally being ignored), if not, I would have given them a piece of my mind right there and then. Of course, when the drink came, I did say Thank You….

remember the last time that I complained about my automatic transmission that doesn't work?? well, it happened again! and this time, the mechanic said it's beyond salvage. I have to change the whole unit of the blardy signal switch! BLARDY! the switch is DAMN EXPENSIVE ok.. RM264!!!

who said Proton cars are cheap? Well, the price MIGHT BE a slightly cheaper as compared to the others. But, other cars they do not have all the STUPID problems that MOST Proton cars have!! and to fix those STUPID PROBLEMS, it's not cheap!! BLARDY!

Just this month alone, I've spent more than RM800 on the blardy car!! Road tax, timing belt and the stupid switch!! Blood sucking PROTON!!! (not for the road tax part)

Did you read about the engineer who admitted to "neglecting" his German Shepard and letting it suffered was ONLY SLAPPED with a RM100 fine!!!

That brainless heartless Bas***d was charged with allowing his dog's health to deteriorate and its body infested with ticks and not providing appropriate medical attention.

Althought the vet tried to safe the dog, but it was too little too late, and have to put the dog to sleep to end its misery.

The reason for his negleting? and I quote "too busy with personal matters and house moving to look after the canine."

"The tick infestation was a small problem and there was enough food and water for the dog, which was already old and sickly anyway,” the Bas***d, told the court.

and he was slapped with ONLY RM100 fine!!!!! RM100!!!!

This has caused an outrage among the animal lovers.

The bas***d. By the way, why is he hiding??!!

Not every Tom, DICK and Harry can enter into our office as and when they like. Due to the nature of our work, everything is top secret and absolutely confidential! Hence, we have very tight security. heh heh heh.

Non employee would have to press the irritating door bell, "ting tong" "ting tong", then our office admin (mind you, we do not have a receptionist), will through their intercom ask "yes, how can I help you?"

Normally, you'll get this "DISPATCH!"

"Hold on a min please" our ever so friendly office admin would reply ~~robotically~~, and as fast as she could, together with her access card, run to the door and let the impatient dispatch in.

All Dispatch boys are IMPATIENT! but some are just unbelievably patient-less! Either that, OR they have problem understanding the phrase "please hold on" OR they suffer from permanent finger spasm. Can’t blardy lift the damn finger from the bell button! So, the door bell would go “ting tong” “ting tong” “ting tong” “ting tong” “ting tong”……
Blardy hell!!! Until someone let him in.

Just like my dog Rover, each time after his daily loitering session around the neighborhood, he’ll stand in front of the gate and bark. A slight delay of 1 nano second, would result in the unstoppable barking, bark bark bark bark bark! Wouldn’t stop, until we let him in. Ever since my sister's department shifted from the DJ office, (which is about 10 min walk from my house) to Phileo, and despite the short notice given by the management (3 days notice), they have also CONVINENTLY turned her into a receptionist cum admin exec cum programmer. They also made it pretty clear that they will not be employing any receptionist/office assistant in the near future. Why my sister everyone must be wondering, well, they told her because she is a SENIOR. I think otherwise, I think they made her do this becuase she is the ONLY GIRL there. Her tasks now includes answering, reverting and redirecting tens and hundreds of calls per day as well as do some office admin work.

On top of that, she has got some tight date lines to meet for her project. One day, she couldn't stand it anymore, so, she sent the following e-mail to her boss:

Hi Boss,
All the endless phone calls is getting on my nerve.

If I have to continue answering, reverting, redirecting all these phone calls, please don’t blame me for not being able to accomplish my tasks on schedule.

I will not extend my working hour to meet my due dates just because I have used up my time attending all these phone calls.

It all started with a BLACK TOP SHOP SINGLET. I was looking all over for it! ALL OVER! And couldn’t find it. Could it be in my cupboard then? I open up my cupboard, I see piles of t-shirts, house shirts, singlet, long skirt, short skirt, long pants, short pants... it was in a total mess!

Since I was in the cleaning mood, and I KNOW I WON’T be able to stop thinking about my BLACK TOP SHOP SINGLET until I find it, I have decided to tidy up my cupboard.

I have roughly counted how many garments I have. I’m not going to tell you exactly how many, but let me just say it can definitely last me for the rest of my life!!

The movie was release sometime in 2002. A friend of mine lend me the vcd and managed to convince me to actually watch it.

Story:
It all began with Cinta lost the poetry competition to this loner boy, Rangga. And as predictable as it can be, both of them are the total opposite, except for one, they both love poetry/literature. Despite their differences, they both fell in love?

This is a poem by Rangga:

My Comment:
If you like sweet teen fairytale like unrealistic romance flick, you?ll definitely like this. Don?t worry if you can?t understand their language, as long as you know how to read, it is ok, coz they have subtitles. I LOVED IT!

Go get the vcd at any Speedy outlet. I have bought one for myself. Hah!

The great SALE carnival just ended.

I have more than 30 pair of shoes. High ones, low ones, high heels, kitten heels, wedges (not potatoe wedges), baby doll shoes, colourful ones, not so colourful ones, comfy ones, killer ones.... but NONE. NONE that I can wear to work DAILY.

Need to buy a new one......

why men like LONG HAIR??!!

Ever since I cut my hair, I have received SO MANY complements [ain't complaining ;)] BUT, mostly are from Ladies...

Men will give me "the look" and say "oh, you cut your hair, why? why getting shorter and shorter?? Long hair nicer..."

Why? Why men like long hair?

I think I look GREAT with short hair!!

*Luckily not ALL man, at least sidekick said I look good, he has to say that right???!! Other than that, everything would be fatal to him* Muahahahha!!

I was in Popular Bookstore. Roaming aimlessly. Suddenly this book caught my attention. I picked up the book, read a few page, and couldn't put it down. "I HAVE TO BUY THIS!" I said to myself. The rest is history

This, really is a quick and easy read. I can't say the plot is GREAT, but it managed to made me shed a few tears and most importantly sacrifice my beauty sleep, so...

Perfect timing

He is extremely alert, and on guard now. Always waiting for his chance. A chance not to be missed. It is like his highlight of the day.

He has to time his movement. He has to contemplate his next course of action. So that he won't be noticed and if he does no one will be able to stop him.

Once the gate is opened, he'll hide in a corner, waiting and waiting and waiting. Waiting for the right moment, waiting for a perfect timing. Praying hard that no one will notice his existence.

The car drove into the car porch. He is still waiting for the right moment. He is still hoping that no one would notice him.

The gate is closing. OK OK, have to make a move fast... just 2 feet before the gate touches its end, he quickly dash out.. run run run as fast as he could. Ahhh...!! Finally, he has succeeded!

He roamed around, marked his territory. Tried to act macho and attack his enemy. Once he his done, he'll stand in front of the gate and bark. Wait for us to open the gate and let him in.

Who am I referring to? Aiya, my dog Rover lah....

In fact right now he is barking outside. Waiting for me to open the gate. Hahah, I'm gonna make him wait for awhile.

Merdeka Day Report

Instead of celberating the National Day at Putra Jaya, I have decided to wake up late, have late breakfast, eat like a pig, shop like a maniac (I went to Little Black Book and Cat Whiskets at Sri Hartamas, I bought JUST ONE T-SHIRT, yes, JUST ONE T-SHIRT! Why didn't I buy more? Coz I still have a few new t-shirts which are still lying around, calling out for my attention to pick them everytime I go out!) and laze around for the WHOLE FREAKING DAY!

And I ended the day with a good movie - The Sound of Music! The BEST Movie, PERIOD! I can SING EVERY SINGLE song in the movie mannn....

Ahhh.... GEORG and Maria
